Report: Putin: Russia can remove pandemic restrictions by Sep

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, Mar 29 (PRIME) -- Russia can eliminate the pandemic-related restrictions by September if the current rate of vaccination maintains, President Vladimir Putin told channel Rossiya 1 in an interview broadcast on March 28.

He added that about 70% of adult population must be vaccinated to form collective immunity "If the rates maintain, I think we will reach the figure in summer, by the end of summer," Putin said.

According Putin, 6 million Russians had been vaccinated, 4.3 million of them had received both doses.
